Join us on Friday, 10/24 in the HMR parking lot from 4:30-5:30pm for the annual PTA Trunk or Treat.

One Community, One Characters starts on 10/6 and takes place through the month of October! Preschool-1st grade Families will be reading Finding Winnie and Families with 2nd-5th graders will read Winnie’s Great War. Some will get to enjoy both! Reading Calendars with activities have been emailed home.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for 10/29 and 10/30. Conferences are in person, unless otherwise requested. These days are minimum days for students with a 1pm dismissal(dismissal process starts at 12:45pm for K-5, 12:30pm for preschool). Teachers have emailed links to sign up for a conference, please email teachers directly with any scheduling questions.

Our school has been recognized with a Promising Practice Award by Character.org for our Bucket Filler and Book Vending Machine character education program! This award celebrates innovative and effective practices that foster positive character development in schools.

HMR students are leading Kindness Rocks! If you find one of their inspiring rocks in the community, enjoy it & take a picture with it(share it by tagging us on Instagram high_mountain_road_school). Then relocate it for someone else to find and enjoy. Let's see how far our kindness can spread!
