About Me

Philosophy:

I believe that every child can succeed when provided a safe and positive learning environment. I recognize that each child learns differently, and I always strive to reach each learner in an effective and efficient manner. It is my mission to prepare students to be lifelong learners and foster the ability to become responsible citizens. Through active learning and a variety of cooperative learning experiences, students will be able to further develop their skills in preparation for the coming years and beyond.

My Biography:Mrs. St. Germain grew up in Bergen County and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fordham University. After spending several years working in television and public relations, she decided to make a big change and become a teacher. Mrs. St. Germain went back to school and acquired a Master’s in Elementary Education from Hunter College, as well as a secondary certifications in Special Education and Administration. She then spent several years teaching, both, general and special education in New York City before having her son in August 2012. The St. Germain family also welcomed a baby girl in May 2016.

Mrs. St. Germain is incredibly excited to be returning to the High Mountain Road community again this year!
